Snow ride in Crown King 03/19/2006

Well after seeing all the snow photos from last week we decided to head off the back way to Crown King and see if we could get into it ourselves. It was supposed to rain and snow on Saturday but it waited until Sunday. We made it to the top without it raining of snowing so we turned left and headed up to Tower Mountain. It was cold at the top. (7610 elevation) Just after a couple of photos it started snowing pretty good. We stopped at the Mill to warm up and have lunch. It snowed about 1 inch while we were there and really came down. We even stopped at a spot that I have camped before to play in the snow before our trip back. It snowed or rained on us the whole way back which was a welcome change from all the dry weather.

Not as good as the snow last week but still a blast.
