MM 11.5 Nov 3, 2007
We went out for a few hours of fun at Mile Marker 11.5 near Lake Plesent Sat 11/03/07. It was nice to ride with a couple of my good friends that are lucky enough to be snow birds. Montana Jim and Bone Daddy (Leo) are back in the state. Along with them were Art and his son ( a newer rider) Brennan, Jeff (Azgolfer), a couple of Jim's Michigan single track riders and me. Jim was on his single track for this ride as well. Bone Daddy has a new red Kawasaki 750I. That thing is sweet. We traded for a while and I have to say that quad has a ton of power, rides and handles great and sounds awesome as well.
We were just going out for a few hours not a Roy marathon ride. I wasn't sure if we should do the tough hill climbs with Brennan no being very experienced, but after discussing it with him and his dad off we went. Brennan did an excellent job. I think I was more nervous than he was. He has good throttle control and didn't hesitate on any of the hills. After some fun hill climbs we headed over to trail #12. The single track guys made it look like a piece of cake.
It was a beautiful day to be out riding. Thank goodness for fall weather. I have a few photos at the link. They are not like normal as my camera is in the shop and I was using my old backup.
